Two of our Leicestershire beneficiaries, along with their older brother, are a constant source of pride to their mum, Samantha, and especially so, following their recent achievements in the world of creative writing.
The family have been supported by Police Children’s Fund since 2016 and in that time we have helped with educational grants towards school trips, sports lessons and IT equipment. Samantha shared the good news that both Ethan and Logan have been awarded certificates recognising their writing talents in a competition held across schools in the UK.
The students were invited to write a thrilling mini saga in under 100 words based on earth-shattering events. Both boys have had their stories selected for publication in a book called ‘Mission Catastrophe – Words Unleashed’ which will remain in the National Archives of the British Library forever!
Sam says “Thank you Police Children’s Fund for your support and funding to help my boys achieve their potential. What a great way to end their year 7.”
Congratulations to Ethan and Logan from everyone at the Fund.
