Here at Police Children’s Fund we help many eligible police children and their families at times when those bigger unexpected costs can arise.
The trustees recently awarded a grant for a school sports trip to one of our South Wales beneficiaries and Will’s mum sent a ‘thank you’ and explained how the Fund has made a small difference.
“I just wanted to send a big thank you to everyone at the Fund for the assistance towards Will’s sports tour to Florida at Easter. It was a wonderful experience for him.”
Rachel went on to say, “He represented his school in rugby, where he was selected as vice-captain. He visited Universal Studios, Wild Florida & Kennedy Space Center. Most importantly, he shared this fabulous experience with his best mates. He also followed in his dad’s footsteps by playing rugby in North America.”
Rachel told us that since returning from the sports tour, Will has won a ‘Thrive’ award in school, partly for being such a good tourist! Rachel continued, “He really is thriving and that is thanks to the support we receive, that allows him to pursue his passions. Thank you so much.”
