Here at Police Children’s Fund we love to hear from parents who share a few words about how they have used a grant to support the education, development and wellbeing of their children.
Mum, Lizzy, a medically retired Hampshire officer, keeps us regularly updated on Louie’s experiences. She took Louie to Woodseaves miniature railway over the Bank Holiday weekend as this is one of his favourite places.
Louie has returned to school in a shiny new uniform and Lizzy is delighted that his reading and maths have come on so much since using his tablet for which he received a grant from the Fund.
Louie’s proud mum told us “…in the summer term, Louie made a big improvement in the phonics screening test. This is a huge jump and the school and I are over the moon with his progress!”
Many thanks to Lizzy for keeping us updated on Louie’s progress and showing how the Fund has made a small difference.
Please contact either Sherral or Nikki at the office to let us know how our grants are used.
