A Few Words from the Manager

Hi everyone and welcome to my first update of 2025.

Here at Police Children’s Fund we continue to provide police children with financial support and stability throughout their educational and developmental years. As always, we thank our wonderful donors and fundraisers who make such a difference.

Earlier this month we held our first quarterly trustees’ meeting of the year where nearly £30,000 was awarded towards driving lessons, school trips, computers, mental health support and other educational grants.

As mentioned last summer, we are excited to have signed up as a charity partner for the London Landmarks Half Marathon which takes place on 6th April. Look out for interviews with our fantastic volunteers (including two of our amazing trustees) who are running for Police Children’s Fund. We can’t wait to share pictures and stories with you after the event.  I would like to take this opportunity to mention our Chair, Tim Packham, who last month celebrated 10 years with the Fund. Tim joined as a trustee January 2015 and after stepping up to the role of vice-chair in 2018, was appointed Chair in 2020. Tim is passionate about Police Children’s Fund and I know the rest of the Board will join me in congratulating Tim and thanking him for his continued hard work and dedication.
