Hi everyone and welcome to my Spring update.
Earlier this month we held our second quarterly trustees’ meeting of the year where over £5,000 was awarded in grants towards driving lessons, school trips and computers.
As mentioned last summer, we were excited to have signed up as a charity partner for the London Landmarks Half Marathon which took place on 6th April. It was a beautiful sunny day and our very own Nikki was there to cheer on all those who took part. We are so grateful to Mel, Garry, Paul, Robyn and Sophie who ran in support of Police Children’s Fund. They were all amazing and between them raised over £2,700 which will help us continue our mission to provide police children with financial support and stability throughout their educational and developmental years.
As always, we thank all our wonderful donors and fundraisers who make such a difference.
I would like to take this opportunity to say ‘Good Luck’ to all our beneficiaries who are in the midst of taking their GCSEs.
