Hi everyone and welcome to another update. I hope you’re having an enjoyable summer.
After the success of being a charity partner for the London Landmarks Half Marathon earlier this year, we are excited to have signed up for 2026 and can’t wait to start sharing news of our amazing runners and how you can support them in their fundraising efforts.
Earlier this month we held our quarterly trustees’ meeting where over £4k was awarded in educational grants towards half term activity clubs, school trips to New York, driving lessons and mental health support. Here at Police Children’s Fund we continue to provide police families with financial support to ensure their children don’t miss out on vital educational opportunities and experiences.
As a charity we regularly review the support we give and our beneficiaries have recently been advised of some changes which will be implemented next April. We will be sharing details of a new range of educational grants which we believe will enhance the support we offer by reaching more of our police families in their time of need. We’ll bring you more news on this later in the year.
As always, we thank our wonderful donors and fundraisers who make such a difference.
Everyone at Police Children’s Fund sends the very best of luck to those starting or returning to school, college and university. To those now leaving education we wish you every success for the future and we are delighted to have supported some of you along your journey.
