Steve is at it again and it’s all for the Fund!
Last December we shared Steve’s interview with you where he told us about his participation in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Police Children’s Fund as a ‘thank you’ to our charity for supporting his family when he was medically retired from the police.
In the build up to the event on Sunday 12 April and in addition to his rigorous training, Steve has also found the time and energy to increase his fundraising efforts. Earlier this month, Steve had use of his local charity shop for a week with the aim of supporting Police Children’s Fund – the week was an outstanding success with over £2k raised.
Not only did Steve add to his fundraising target for LLHM but he also managed to highlight our cause, promoting Police Children’s Fund in a local newspaper in addition to giving a televised interview on That’s TV Hampshire.
Everyone here at the Fund is so grateful to Steve for his commitment to supporting us in this way.
You can sponsor Steve here – every penny helps us continue our work in ensuring police children have access to the tools and experiences they need to flourish throughout their education.
