Police Children’s Fund has been supporting an Avon & Somerset family since the summer of 2020. Bonnie and her dad (a medically retired police officer) have been in touch to express their gratitude for the help given towards an educational school trip.
Bonnie was fortunate enough to be offered a place on an art and design trip to New York to support her school art studies. Back in May of this year, Bonnie flew to the Big Apple where she visited museums, galleries, the Rock Observatory and much more, exploring artwork displayed in various locations across the city.
The Fund awarded a School Trip Grant to Bonnie to ensure she could enjoy this wonderful learning experience alongside her peers. Bonnie said” it was a trip of a lifetime.”
